Installation

Before installing, it is recommended that you read the provided Read Me file for any news.

You just need to copy the plugin into the Plug-In folder of your server. After this, restarting your server application will activate Welcome.

Welcome will create an empty configuration file in its own folder inside of the Plug-Ins folder. At this time, Welcome behaves transparent to the serving process. To use it, you just need to configure it now.

To deactivate Welcome, simply remove it from the Plug-In folder and restart the server application.

 Upgrading from older versions of Welcome

Make a backup copy of your configuration file! Leave it at the same place, as it will be converted "in place" when you activate the new version of Welcome.

Welcome will move all its preference files from the root (older versions of Welcome put their files in the root) into a new folder "Welcome-Plugin f" inside the "Plug-Ins" folder.

After activation, go to the configuration pages and check all your settings. Make sure that any possible host that can reach your server is in the host list and read the Read Me file that is provided for changes in rule definitions.
